It began, as the best days do, in colour. A haldi thick with marigold, turmeric bright on their skin, laughter you could hear across the lawn. Then a sangeet that ran late under a canopy of fairy lights - live music, a floor that never emptied, the two of them pulled into the middle of it by everyone who loves them.
Libni wore red. A saree, a nath resting against her cheek, gold catching the mountain sun - the kind of bride who doesn't need to be told to look luminous. There is a frame of her we keep coming back to: her face half-turned, quiet in the middle of all that noise, entirely herself.
The wedding itself was held under a mandap open to the hills. The sacred fire, the pheras, garments knotted together, a saffron turban leading the way - and around it, the parts no one scripts. A mother held her daughter and neither let go. Aunts filmed on their phones and clapped through tears. Even their dog wandered into the warm light, as if he knew. These are the moments we live to catch - not because anyone asked us to, but because they happened, and someone had to be watching.
That is the whole of it, really. A wedding in the hills, with people who flew across the world to stand in one room, feels like a great deal.
We don't pose your wedding. We feel it.
In their words
"The way you have captured every emotion and expression of not just us but also our family and friends is a true testament to your craft and perceptiveness... Now that we've settled back into our old life in Singapore... some moments we even forget that we got married. So this was such a great reminder of just how beautiful it was. Working with you guys is truly a privilege."
